How We Scope, Execute, and Deliver

THE ENGAGEMENT MODEL

What working with us actually looks like.

Step 1: Scoping Call

Week 0

We meet with your team to define the problem, success criteria, and deliverables. If the project is a fit, we send a scoping document within 48 hours.

Step 2: Team Assembly

Week 1

We staff a dedicated team of 4 to 6 consultants and a project manager with relevant domain experience. NDAs are signed before any work begins.

Step 3: Discovery & Research

Weeks 2 to 5

The team embeds in the problem. Primary and secondary research, stakeholder interviews if needed, and a structured mid-point check-in with your team.

Step 4: Analysis & Synthesis

Weeks 6 to 9

Findings are synthesized into a structured framework or recommendation set. A draft deliverable is shared for your review and feedback.

Step 5: Final Delivery

Weeks 10 to 12

Final deliverable package delivered. Includes a live presentation to your team and a handoff document. All IP belongs to you.

NDAs on every project

Every team member signs a mutual NDA before the engagement begins. No exceptions.

You own all IP

All work product, analysis, and deliverables belong to you. BSB retains no rights to your data, findings, or methodology.

Faculty oversight available

For engagements requiring additional assurance, a Berkeley faculty advisor can be brought on as a project overseer upon request.
